Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business or related filed required; MBA preferred.
10+ years of related experience in distribution/supply chain business operations; a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Six Sigma or equivalent training; thorough knowledge of TQM and process improvement and Lean principles. Black Belt certification is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of call center, customer service, distribution and Quality (ISO 9001:2000)
Proven experience managing multiple projects and departments with different priorities.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must exhibit stellar written and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for developing and executing the strategies designed to manage rapid growth, grow revenue, improve quality and increase productivity. The incumbent will provide strong leadership and management in the implementation of policies, procedures, processes and controls. Provide direction, vision and confidence through a clearly communicating the strategic focus on company objectives and goals, effective management of employees, and the development of department managers. This position will report to the COO and will be based in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Specific responsibilities include:
General management of a rapidly growing Point-of-Sale (POS) distribution facility focused on product kitting, programming, electronics repair and distribution.
Oversee all operations related to production costs, logistics, quality assurance, business development and safety.
Effective planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the companys operations.
Establish and manage departmental budgets / P&L in coordination with the COO.
Develop and implement procedures for continued improvement in efficiency, reduced production costs and overall operational effectiveness.
Develop and implement procedures to ensure quality standards and delivery are met and maintained at the high standards set by the company.
Make recommendations for strategic business development. Analyze market conditions and react effectively to realize opportunities and minimize losses.
Ensure effective communication between departments and the successful implementation of best practices.
Build, develop and empower team members to meet aggressive company objectives.
Performance management including, goal setting, career development, performance reviews, corrective action and succession planning.
Ensure safety in the workplace through clear communication of company policy.
Ensure adherence at all times, to the companys policies and procedures, core values of high ethical standards, respect and dignity.
Develop and implement programs that enhance employee motivation and display leadership behaviors that demonstrate commitment to a positive work environment.
Interacts regularly with Senior Leadership team and individual department heads to ensure that companys operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
Perform any other related duties as required for the overall success of the business, such as, partnering with Sales and Business Development teams.
