BA degree (production or purchasing)
3 to 5 years experience in a production or distribution company
MS Suite, Windows, and previous experience working with an ERP system
Basic Accounting, and time study skills
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
Duties: Position Objective: To schedule production to produce product in conjunction with the forecast and customer demand
This position has the following tasks: - Responsible for defining, monitoring, and controlling material schedule
- Analyze MRP for correctness and slant material to arrive in time to accommodate production lead-time
- Review inventory reports and compare to history and recommend inventory levels to Materials Mgr
- Analyze shortage report ensuring Purchasing department has material scheduled in a timely manner
- Move kits through Test into sales order kits and provide to the Senior Production Analyst for processing
- Review all schedule changes and make necessary adjustments
- Review and approve Engineering Change Requests & Engineering Change Orders to coordinate material with purchasing as necessary
- Maintain weekly production schedules
