Atlanta APICS Chapter Job Board: Hard Roll PlannerDate: 1/11/2010 Title: Hard Roll Planner Qualifications: Cellu Tissue Holdings, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA has an immediate need for a Hard Roll Planner. In this role you'll work closely with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team to ensure delivery of the right product at the right time, that processes and procedures ultimately fulfill internal and external customer's needs and ensure stability within the mill's Operations & Supply Chain organizations through development of production schedules that optimize productivity and minimize delivered cost. Duties include providing timely and accurate production schedules to facilitate optimal utilization of the assets capacity; providing direction on upcoming changes to demand and machine loadings along with business justification and gaining alignment on asset capabilities and improvement plans; and taking a hands-on approach to managing the planning and scheduling activities. Qualifications for this position include Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Production & Operations Management, or Business and a minimum of 5 recent years of planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, and demonstrated hands on technology skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Office and experience in an ERP information systems environment - JD Edwards experience is a plus.
