Qualifications: McCormick & Co., Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor & seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Materials Manager in its US Industrial Group plant at 5820 Tulane Drive in Atlanta, GA. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities include: Managing the long-range production planning and capacity management process through Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Managing the short-range production planning. Controlling inventory levels and Inventory Turn Over (ITO). Coaching, motivating, and supporting a High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) team to ensure information flow, employee development, problem-solving, goal setting and process improvements. Managing the First Time Order (FTO) processes, recipe and Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and master data accuracy. Monitoring plant Slow and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB) process to ensure that rework, aged and defective inventory are promptly given a disposition. Managing the purchasing processes for ingredients, packaging and Maintenance Repair Operation (MRO). Growing internal and external customer relationships to meet / exceed service metrics. Qualifications include: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field. 5+ Years experience in Materials or Supply Chain Management and leading teams and direct reports (coaching & motivating). Preferred: Working knowledge of SAP, Excel and Lotus Notes. APICS CPIM Certification. Food and/or beverage manufacturing experience.
